The company was formed in 1992 as a spin-off from the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). Through its range of publications, Textiles Intelligence provides a vital source of information to subscribers in more than 60 countries across five continents.

Textiles Intelligence has an extensive team of expert contributors based in Asia, North and South America, Europe and Africa with experience in the fields of fibres, textiles and apparel. The team is headed by Robin Anson, a recognised leading worldwide authority on strategic issues related to trade in textiles and clothing.
