This report provides vital data and analysis of trends in imports from the EU's ten largest supplying countries. Also, it provides insight and analysis of developments in the clothing sector of each of the leading supplying countries and provides a forecast for the future. For the first time in three years, EU clothing imports rose in value and volume in the year ending June 30, 2014. Increases in clothing imports were observed in 17 of the EU's 28 countries in value terms and in 20 countries in volume terms. At the same time, there were declines in the average prices of imports into 21 countries. The EU's ten largest supplying countries were Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Morocco, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam. China was by far the largest of these but the fastest growth in both value and volume terms was in EU clothing imports from Cambodia. Morocco, Sri Lanka, Tunisia and Turkey all lost market share in value and volume.
