Robin Anson, editorial director of Textiles Intelligence, has been invited by the Minister of Industry in Mauritius, Dr Rajesh Jeetah, to speak at the Annual Conference of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) which takes place on October 11-14, 2008 in the Republic of Mauritius.

He will be making a presentation on "Competing in the Global Textile and Apparel Market: How Relevant Are Green Strategies?" during the first general session on Monday, October 13 and will be pleased to meet delegates individually afterwards to discuss the contents of his presentation.

The theme of the first general session is "Sustainability: Views from the Retail, Trade and Industry" while the second general session is on the subject of "Challenges and Risks of the Textile Industry in the Area of Climate Change". The conference will take place at Le Méridien Ile Maurice Hotel, Village Hall Lane, Pointe Aux Piments, Mauritius.
