Belinda Carp joins the board of directors of the International Apparel Federation (IAF)

Belinda Carp, sales and marketing director of the leading business information provider, Textiles Intelligence, has joined the board of directors of the International Apparel Federation (IAF). She takes the place of her colleague, Robin Anson, whose term on the board recently came to an end.

Textiles Intelligence has been in a partnership with the IAF for several years. In 2008 it launched the quarterly publication "Global Apparel Markets" in association with the IAF to provide corporate and associate members with an authoritative source of market intelligence.

Textiles Intelligence is also a marketing partner of the IAF and helps to promote its annual conventions. This year, the 27th IAF World Apparel Convention will take place in Mexico from October 13 -- 16, 2011 at the Grand Velas Hotel in Puerto Vallarta. The convention is being organised jointly by the IAF and Cámara Nacional de la Industria del Vestido (CANAIVE -- the Mexican Apparel Industry Chamber).

The main themes of the convention will be: sourcing; retail; innovation; and design.
