Speakers in the Supply Chain Session at the IAF World Convention 2012

Speakers from renowned companies and organisations worldwide have already confirmed their attendance at the 28th IAF World Apparel Convention to be held during September 26-27, 2012 in Oporto, Portugal.

During the Supply Chain Session, the following topics will be highlighted:

  • Sourcing developments
  • Integrated planning
  • Logistics
  • Cost cutting
  • Sustainability

The moderator of this session, Mr Paulo Nunes de Almeida, is ex-ATP President and currently AEP Foundation President (Portugal). ATP, the Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal, and co-organizer of this convention, is an employers' association that groups around 600 companies from the entire Portuguese textile and clothing sector.

Dr Harry Lee, CEO of TAL (Hong Kong), is the keynote speaker during this session. TAL, one of the world's leading garment suppliers, has turned the threat of inflation across the supply chain into an opportunity to do things differently.
